Graphic Design Color

Over the first part of graphic design we have learned about color. There are many different color wheels that you can make. We have been taught to be as creative as we can. We have learned to try new things instead of doing the same thing over and over again. On our shower gel handout we had to compare two brands. You could tell what the brand's message was just by looking at the color of the bottle. Green models mean that it has a fresh and clean type of product. Blue can show that too except it can mostly represent water. Not only does the color show what the product is like, the style and shape of the packaging can also show what the product is like or used for.

  1. Color is very subjective and can mean more than one thing at a time, like you said blue is mostly for water but also means fresh AND helps support the core message for the brand's intended audience.
