Graphic Design Color

Over the first part of graphic design we have learned about color. There are many different color wheels that you can make. We have been taught to be as creative as we can. We have learned to try new things instead of doing the same thing over and over again. On our shower gel handout we had to compare two brands. You could tell what the brand's message was just by looking at the color of the bottle. Green models mean that it has a fresh and clean type of product. Blue can show that too except it can mostly represent water. Not only does the color show what the product is like, the style and shape of the packaging can also show what the product is like or used for.

Graphic Design Summary

Graphic Design is communication, idea, life, and language. Concepts of Graphic Design include color, theory, behavior, and even more. You can or already use Graphic Design in every aspect of life.  Creativity is clearly the main idea in Graphic Design as week as other parts of life. People in the business create a moment that you will remember. There is not one select style that people use in the industry.

Interview/ Learnings

Over the nine weeks or so that I was in this class I learned a lot. I learned everything from the Final Cut Pro basics to how to use a video recorder. In Final Cut Pro I learned many shortcut keys. Some of them I learned were Command B for the blade tool, command I and O for input and output, and shift Z which shows the whole timeline. I also learned many tools on Final Cut Pro such as adding transitions, music, sound effects, and more. On the camera I learned that you can’t hold it because of how shaky you are. When you are using 2 or more people you can’t move the camera on to one of the side of the scene because the viewer won’t know what is going on. I had so much fun in this video strand of eComm. I think that I want to go into I next year.

The Chase

During the project I learned a couple new things. I learned how to add sound effects. I also learned how to slow down, speed up, or normalize the speed of the video. One other thing I learned how to do was to change to any type of tool using the dropdown menu right above the editing area. During the next project I am going to possibly add more sound effects. I’m also going to edit the video better next time so the clips flow better together and make the film easier to watch. Collaboration was a lot different this tome using three people. Each person had more pressure on them because each person had their one individual job. During my next project for collaboration I will help my partners with their jobs more often to help each other improve. Overall, this project was a great improvement from my previous projects.
